I found it hard to put down. I really enjoyed Jay's many literary references and his witty, humorous metaphors. They kept a smile on my face throughout the story. Jay also has an amazing grasp of English vocabulary and uses words masterfully in his descriptions.

I hadn't read fiction for pleasure in decades, but I quickly became riveted by the plot and could hardly wait to see what would happen next. Every time I picked up the book I was immediately drawn back into the narrative, with no reviewing necessary.

Starstruck is a great summer read—a real page turner. The characters are believable and real. You feel as if you already know them, as if they are your neighbors, but you’re getting a glimpse into a part of their lives you normally would not see.

Jay creates a world with characters with which we can identify, then weaves them into a modern Jane Austen story with humor, despair, hope, love... Can two damaged persons get out of their own way and find the love they deserve?
